Dionna Eshleman

Actor, Singer, Dancer and Teaching Artist

Dionna is an actor/singer/dancer currently living, working and pursuing her craft in NYC. She has been seen in various community, regional and university theater projects as well as independent films.

She has spent a summer as a faculty associate in the reknowned NHSI Cherubs theater/musical theater programs at Northwestern University and also interned at the Arden Theater in Old City, Philadelphia. There she was a valued part of the education department, assisting with the Arden Drama School and working with esteemed teaching artists from all over the NY/NJ/PA metro area. She was then offered a teaching artist position and taught  a musical theatre class to grades 6-12 at the Arden Drama School in the fall. She remains a teaching artist and loves sharing the gift of theater with kids of all ages whenever her schedule allows.

As an actor and musical theater performer, Dionna has a strong comedic acting side, as well as a love of Shakespeare and classic text.  She has a compelling stage presence, but is not afraid to show her sensitive side when a role requires it. Her singing style ranges from classic musical theater to pop/rock.

Dionna is a honors graduate of Temple University,  with a BA in theatre with a musical theatre concentration. In addition to performing, Dionna works as a waiter at Great Performances and is also a top notch babysitter!
